This record by this guy

This was the first in a series of records of this guy reading his own work. I've been to his website, and he's not selling it, so I'm putting it up here, without any searchable keywords, strictly as a present to anyone who stumbles on this blog. (Trivia: listen for a short snippet that DJ Shadow later sampled.)

    I'm sorry to tell you this, but this guy has a lot of his stuff at audible.com, read by him and others. Perhaps he re-recorded these two stories for audible, but you know what his reaction would be anyway.

    But a million thanks for everything you've posted! I don't remember what I was searching for when I first came here, but I'm happy I found your blog, and I check it regularly.

    In particular, tremendous thanks for the Severn Darden album! I had had mp3s with mediocre quality that I found on some very obscure web pages. I was absolutely ecstatic when you posted it!
